Scientific Research Paper

What advice could I give about writing a scientific research paper? I would start off by letting the student know that he or she has to research their topic, make sure that the topic is interesting to them. Second I would let the writer know that they have to have a strong thesis statement and also follow the order of the thesis statement through out the entire paper. I had a problem with developing my thesis statement, I had to write it over and over again! Third, I would advise the writer to cite their information and I would explain why it is important for them to cite their information.
