Academic Challenges

If there was one thing about my academic challenges it would the finding a set time to study my school material each week. I need a set time and place, I find myself studying before I go to work, during my lunch break, and during my daughter's cheerleading practice. Sometimes this confuses me because I'm studying my lesson on a short amount of time, which effects my grade most of the time. Over time, it has become a lot better because I have created a schedule so when I do sit down and study I can REALLY study!

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is a very serious issue when it comes to college writing and any kind of writing when publishing a book or article. There is different kinds of plagiarism but its important to know that all of them still fall under the same category. It's important to cite your sources because it would be consider stealing or taking credit for writing another author's hard work. You have to quote properly when using other sources especially in college writing papers.

Online Student

Being a online student can be a challenge, I feel that if you have a set schedule for studying and balance it between your personal life then it could be done. I'm a single parent, I work full-time and also have other activties that I have to attend to with my daughter. I like the flexibility and the self-direct style of the courses, we have a option of going to class anytime of the day which helps me out a lot. My friends always ask me," how do you go to school online?" " Is it hard?" Yes, its hard, but you have to be discipline , you have to want it!
